Saying yes to Encore paid off for Filippos Triantafillou of Barrie. Filippos matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Jan. 17, 2020 Daily Keno draw to win $100,000! Filippos also won $10 on his Daily Keno selection, bringing his total winnings to $100,010.
"I checked my numbers at the store,” shared Filippos, a restaurant owner, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “A lot of clouds have cleared with this win!”
This isn’t the first major win for the 65-year-old. Filippos shared a Lottario prize worth more than $430,000 last year.
The married father of three and grandfather of five plans to invest his windfall for his children.
"They have their own kids and I know life gets expensive. This win will help alleviate some of the pressure.”
"I feel awesome,” Filippos concluded.
