WATERFORD COMMUNITY RETIREMENT

The award winning Barrie Pipes & Drums will present Waterford Barrie Retirement Residence with a great outdoor show this Saturday afternoon.
They will be performing for our residents who will watch from their balconies and safely from their windows. The band will be starting in our parking lot – turning down Edgehill Drive and then up Leacock to cover both sides of the community and letting our residents watch safely from their suites.
This event is the first outdoor music event since COVID-19 turned our worlds upside down.
When Rob McGregor of Barrie Pipes & Drums told us that they would be setting up a social distanced Pipes & Drums show for our seniors, we could not have been happier. This is just what we need. It’s been a tough time on seniors.
The show will not be long but it will be stellar and well received!
Barrie Pipes and Drums proudly represents Barrie and Simcoe County through competition and local events. Established in the mid 1970s, we are a not- for-profit organization that rely heavily on the support from our community.
Date: Saturday, June 6 (weather permitting) at 3 p.m.
