The incident happened just before midnight at a downtown establishment but a suspect was 'quickly caught by police,' according to a news release.

A suspect had been previously captured on video surveillance allegedly stealing a coin donation box from Mac's Convenience on Huronia Rd. on Nov. 14.

A man has been charged with two counts of theft and mischief under $5,000 and two counts of fail to comply with probation.

He will appear via video remand in bail court Saturday morning.
