Diwali is India's most important festival of the year — a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. The festival usually lasts five days and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika
Every year, the Indian community in the city of Barrie comes together to celebrate their annual celebrations of Festival of Lights. Barrie's Diwali Bash provides the community of Barrie a fascinating evening with Indian food, entertainment, culture, fashion, music and a memorable night.
