Barrie Police say there's been another bear sighting in the city's southwest end.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Barrie Police responded to the area after a bear was spotted entering Ardagh Bluffs around the noon hour.

No one was injured.

Students at W.C. Little Elementary School were kept inside for while as a precaution.

Lunch was provided to students who normally go home as students and staff were staying indoors because of the animal sighting.

It's the second bear sighting in the area in about two weeks.

A black bear was spotted in the backyard of a home in the Marsellus Drive and Downing Crescent area on the morning of May 30.
