Angus man remains in hospital after workplace injury in Innisfil

Ministry of Labour has identified company as Res Precast and says worker was injured by falling material

A 37-year-old Angus man remains in hospital with serious injuries following an incident yesterday at a workplace in Innisfil.

South Simcoe police, Innisfil firefighters and Simcoe County paramedics responded to a construction site in the area of 9th Line and Thomas Street on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The Ministry of Labour has identified the company as Res Precast and said it was reported that the worker was injured by falling material.

According to the ministry, one requirement was issued to the employer.

The investigation is ongoing.
