On Saturday, March 19, 2016, just before 11 p.m., Barrie police stopped at vehicle that had been travelling at 175 km/hr on Highway 400 just north of Mapleview Drive, in the city of Barrie.
The 19-year-old Barrie male advised police he was actually traveling at 205 km/hr prior to being caught.
Despite his honesty he was charged with stunt driving and received a seven-day driving suspension and vehicle impoundment.
