McDonald's Restaurants in Barrie are serving up some fast food fundraising today for Zach Makes Tracks.

It's Big Macs for Zach Day to help Zach Hofer reach his ultimate goal of raising $100,000 for the new Child and Youth Mental Health Unit at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

For every Big Mac purchased today, $1 will go to the cause.

Zach has already raised about $84,000 from his epic journey from Barrie to Ottawa.

Last August, the 13-year-old biked, walked and jogged to Parliament Hill to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health.

He arrived in the nation's capitol on Sept, 10 where he had a meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Our humble hero was recently awarded Barrie's highest honour with a Youth Spirit Catcher Award.

Go Zach Go!
