Memorable themes from video games will be the focus of an upcoming Huronia Symphony Orchestra (HSO) concert.

“Featuring the HSO Youth Orchestra the concert showcases the music from classic to modern video games that will take you on a nostalgic journey through gaming history,” the orchestra says in a news release.

In addition, 12-year-old Ryan Yin will be performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto #1 (3rd Mov’t).

HSO says this would be a great opportunity to introduce children and grandchildren to the sounds of a real orchestra.

“Level Up” will take place Sunday, Feb. 4 at Collier Street United Church in downtown Barrie.
