Juno Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk is bringing some festival spirit to Midland later this year.

The Winnipeg-born artist will appear at the Midland Cultural Centre on Dec. 11 as part of her Christmas is a Way of Life, My Dear tour.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show at Rotary Hall cost $54 for balcony seats, $49 for floor seats and $55 at the door. Those prices don't include taxes and fees.

Kreviazuk's first studio album, Under These Rocks and Stones, was released in 1996 and saw commercial success before being issued in the United States the following year to critical praise.

Her most recent albums, Hard Sail and Get To You, were released in 2016 and 2020, respectively. She also released a Christmas album in 2019, called Christmas is a Way of Life, My Dear.

Over her career, she has been nominated for six Juno Awards and won twice in 2000 for best pop album and best female artist.

While attendees must have had both vaccinations against COVID-19 to attend the show, there are no capacity limits in place.
