In my opinion, it is really in the best interest when people, especially those of low income, write to their politicians to voice their concerns as I have done for many, many years.
However, society is mainly and very heavily controlled by the rich and powerful among us.
I fully realize, as many people likely do, that politicians and the majority of the general public are mainly concerned with rich folks who have money as they control and strongly influence politicians and how things will or will not happen in society, and those who are low income have no voice.
Even when we try, we are muzzled by the politicians and ignored.
In many ways, it would be best for me to cease voicing my opinions and concerns after all these years as it has not gotten me anywhere.
This is what the politicians would prefer and in this way they can continue to be heavily influenced by the powerful, rich people in society who control how everything will function and I will continue to suffer in silence and not waste my time wearing my keyboard any further writing to politicians.
Maybe I could try and enjoy having a cup of coffee once in a while at a coffee shop.
