I have watched, heartbroken and aghast, at what is happening to the people of Ukraine, but at the same time also amazed and thinking that it would be something to have a leader with the strength and determination that President Zelenskyy has shown the world.
Pulling out all the stops in defending his people and his country. Coming forward to beg the rest of the world to step forward and help stave off the annihilation of his people and his country, I find this awe-inspiring.
I am also encouraged by the everyday people who have stepped forward to help comfort and dig in to try and bring some semblance of normality back in to the lives of those people fleeing and everyone just trying to stay alive.
