The following is in response to 'LETTER: City waste collection changes 'daunting' for seniors,' published Nov. 21.

I’m a senior living in a house with a single-car garage. There will be no place to put the garbage bins in the garage.

I have a contractor in the winter to blow out my driveway. The boulevard is not flat enough to put the bins there, as well the boulevard could get as high as two feet from the city snow plow.

I can’t block my driveway with bins in case of emergency and can’t expect my contractor to move the bins when the snow needs to be removed from my driveway.

I can’t put the bins on the road in case the city snow plow comes the same day, and can’t put the bins on the snow banks on the boulevard.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
