Since our tax dollars have constantly poured into developing and improving the lakefront and new subdivisions, the older sections of the city have been neglected.

The roads in Ward 2 are a disgrace. Not only are they damaging our tires, drivers have to become acrobatic to avoid the potholes.

Grove Street is a busy road with multiple elementary and secondary schools, recreation and sports areas, churches, nursing homes, and yes, many homes and apartment buildings serving many many people, particularly children.

The potholes, especially between Davidson and Clapperton streets, are a disgrace.

Even if some councillors disliked our alderman, that is no excuse for neglecting us. Shame on you!
