In regards to the letter about entering a business barefoot, I feel it should be obvious that fungus poses a legitimate health risk to the community.
This is why people have shower sandals while staying at hotels and other places.
If my religion forbade praying with my head covered, does that mean, say, working in a manufacturing plant that I shouldn't have to wear a bump cap because of my faith?
Yes, such circumstances should be honoured, but not at the risk of public safety.
Plus, it's kinda gross. No offence.
