My name is Jeff Rice and I have been a longtime resident of the town of Innisfil.

My family has been involved in various construction developments over the years, providing hundreds with a great lifestyle for seniors in the area.

Today, we see massive and unique growth in housing and lifestyle resort living. The time has come to deal with the issues of lifestyle, jobs, deregulations, and easing residents’ access to the town office, and improving overall livability. We need to ensure with this growth that longtime residents are represented.

We are growing fast, and, within that growth, our Innisfil residents must come first. To learn more about my ideas, please visit my site at innisfilfirst.com.

An elected representative has the role to make their residents’ concerns and recommendations heard and generally act on their behalf, not to create roadblocks and cause delays in getting them the services they want and need.

Whether it is dealing with local safe bus transportation flow for our kids, priority resident access to Innisfil Beach Park, any potential development growth in their neighbourhoods, keeping and getting jobs to stay inside Innisfil, or any issues important to the people who live here, Innisfil residents come first!

I know this town so well and am so proud of it.

Indeed, I have the experience and passion in so many areas to make sure our residents in Ward 5 are heard, while at the same time having an open mind to learn the issues of the ward, and do my best to push for what the residents want to see in order to reach a satisfying compromise.

I will champion Innisfil. Let’s enjoy the lifestyle and potential that Innisfil has to offer.
