Eligible Barrie voters have until 8 p.m. today to cast their vote in the 2022 Municipal Election for the offices of Mayor, City Councillor and School Board Trustee.
Electors who are on the voters' list should have received a voter information letter in the mail. Each voter information letter contains an individual voter pin number and instructions for voting either online or by phone in Barrie's 2022 Municipal Election. If you require assistance, please call 705-728-8683 (VOTE), email [email protected], or visit a Voting Assistance Centre (details below).
Please note: a candidate or a member of their team cannot assist a voter in the voting process and a voter should not provide their PIN number to anyone.
If you do not have a voter PIN or require assistance voting, please visit one of the following Voting Assistance Centres open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Unofficial results will be posted at approximately 9:30 p.m. at results.barrie.ca and on the City’s social media channels (@cityofbarrie on Facebook and Twitter). Note: Results will not trickle in as they have in the past when polls close. As a result of online/phone voting, there are no individual polls, so results are reported only once. Official results will be available later in the week, once certified by the City Clerk.
