Barrie’s newest pharmacy owner, Adam Chappell, is passionate about providing patients with a more personalized experience and hopes to connect with the community on April 2nd when Pharmaright Pharmacy has its grand opening.

Emphasizing the importance of building connections within the community, Chappell says what sets Pharmaright Pharmacy apart from corporate pharmacies is that they can spend more time interacting with patients.

“We’re able to solve any problems that come up,” he says. “Anything that needs dealing with, we’ll deal with it on each visit when you come to the store.”

Owning an independent pharmacy is something Chappell has always wanted to do, and after a decade of working as a hospital pharmacist, where his work was more “behind the scenes,” he wanted more control over his workflow and the ability to interact with patients.

“I like meeting members of the community, having time to chat with people, and making some professional connections with people,” Chappell says.

Pharmaright Pharmacy also offers modern pharmacy services, including walk-in minor ailment assessments, free-of-charge prescription extensions, vaccines, blister packaging, free delivery, and the choice of automated messaging on the status of prescriptions and online ordering via their website.

Located at 353 Anne Street in Barrie, Chappell hopes community members will stop by on April 2nd for snacks and refreshments to celebrate the grand opening and meet the experienced staff. Additionally, the first 100 people to stop by will receive a $15 voucher off their next meal at neighbouring restaurant Perfect SZN.
