Police are looking for a driver who ran a red light and nearly struck a pedestrian July 19 in Barrie.
In a news release issued Tuesday, the OPP Highway Safety Division said it is seeking witnesses after the driver of a black SUV ran a red light while travelling north on Bayview Drive at the intersection with Concert Way at 10:17 a.m.
Police are asking anyone with information, including the pedestrian who was nearly struck, to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122, Aurora OPP at 905-841-5777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips can be provided at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
