The following are news releases issued by the Midland Police Service:
On August 6, 2017 in the evening hours Midland Police attended a west side boarding house after receiving a call about a disturbance.
Upon arrival the officers determined there had been a physical confrontation between two tenants. After speaking with witnesses it was learned that one tenant had returned home after being out drinking.
He became involved in a dispute with a tenant which resulted in him assaulting that person. As a result of this incident a male suspect has been arrested and charged with assault. He was later released on a promise to appear.
He has been ordered to attend Midland Court of Justice on August 31, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
