Three injured in Bradford collision

BRADFORD - On Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, shortly before 9 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to the intersection of Country Road 27 and Concession 11 of Bradford West Gwillimbury for a report of a collision involving injuries.  

On arrival police learned that one involved vehicle had entered a ditch with the driver now trapped.  

Innisfil Fire also attended and were required for extrication of the injured driver from the vehicle.  

A second involved vehicle remained on the roadway with extensive damage and two further injured occupants.  

Three people were transported to hospital by ambulance, one with serious injuries.  

County Road 27 remained closed for approximately three hours for the collision investigation.  

The investigation is continuing with charges pending.
