Someone in Midland gets tires punctured

27-year-old male charged with possession of drugs, proceeds of property obtained by crime and mischief as a result

On March 3, 2017 the Midland Police Service investigated a Mischief incident which occurred to a vehicle in the parking lot on the east side of the Town of Midland, Ontario.

Video surveillance from the business showed two males grabbing an unknown item from their vehicle and puncturing three tires on a vehicle. The males then left in a maroon coloured Saturn.

The investigating officer identified one of the male suspect’s from the video surveillance, which was also known to the victim. Later that evening, plain clothes officers with the Midland Police Service observed the maroon colored Saturn at a gas station on the east side of the Town of Midland and began observations of the vehicle and the occupants.

A traffic stop was later conducted on Highway 12 in the Town of Midland, Ontario and one of the men was arrested for Mischief Under $5000.

During the search of the male a quantity of cocaine was located in his wallet along with a large amount of Canadian Currency. The male was transported back to the Midland Police Service where he was held for a bail hearing for March 4, 2017.

Charged: Tyler John Cadeau (27 years of age) from Port Severn, Ontario

Charges:

1) Mischief Under $5000 s. 430(4) CC

2) Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 s. 354(1)(a) CC

3) Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine s. 4(1) CDSA
