(COLLINGWOOD AND THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON) A strong storm hit Collingwood and The Blue Mountains area this afternoon causing damage to trees and some structures.
At this time there are power outages in some areas and motorists heading home are reminded to treat those intersections as a four way stop.
Crews are out working on clearing roads from tree limbs and downed power lines and as such we are asking residents to remain at home for the evening to assist in the clean up efforts by reducing traffic on area streets.
