Police Street Crime Unit seize $24,800 worth of drugs

Investigators seized cash as well as 240 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of Ecstasy

Following an ongoing investigation, members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit arrested and charged four people with numerous drug offenses, following a Criminal Code Search Warrant executed at a residence on Yonge Street and Maple Avenue, in the City of Barrie, on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Investigators seized a quantity of cash as well as 240 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of Ecstasy (MDMA); an estimated street value of $24,800.

A 34-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with; possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, and possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine. 

A 36-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with; possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and four(4) counts of fail to comply with a probation order.

A 46-year-old female from Barrie has been charged with; possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.

A 35-year-old man from Brampton has been charged with; possession of a controlled substance – cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine. The vehicle driven by the accused, a 2011 Range Rover, was seized by police and later returned following the execution of a search warrant on the vehicle.
