Police still investigating pedestrian collision

A 51-year-old Barrie woman was transported to RVH with non-life threatening injuries

On Friday, Mar. 3, 2017, just after 4 p.m. a woman was stuck by a vehicle while crossing the Dunlop Street West and Hart Drive intersection, in the City of Barrie.

The Barrie Police Traffic Services shut down Dunlop Street West from Anne Street to Cedar Point Drive. OPP assisted in shutting down the southbound and northbound Hwy 400 off ramps to Dunlop Street throughout the investigation.

The 51-year-old Barrie woman was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.

Charges have not been laid, as the investigation is ongoing.
