The Barrie Police Investigative Services is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following an early morning robbery.

On Saturday, June 10, at 3:05 a.m., police were called to Mac’s Convenience, located at 181 Livingstone St. East, in the City of Barrie for a report of a robbery. A male suspect had entered the store and demanded money and lottery tickets.

The employee complied, although the suspect grew impatient and walked behind the counter and quickly filled a bag he had been carrying with cigarettes and money. Prior to leaving the suspect took the employees cell phone, and was last seen fleeing the area on a bicycle, heading south on St. Vincent Street.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Medium build, 5’8”
  • Wearing a white baseball hat under a white hood, white mask covering his face, camouflage jacket and dark cargo pants, black shoes and carrying a black bag.
