INNISFIL - On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, just before 1 a.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a Bradford restaurant. A woman reported that her ex-husband had been drinking in the bar and harassing her.

He (allegedly) took her cellphone and smashed it, leaving the scene. The man is currently on a bail that prohibits him from contacting her or consuming alcohol.

At 5:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police were notified that a man had fled the scene of a pick up truck rollover at Innisfil Beach Road and 20 Sideroad. When officers arrived, they realized the suspect was the same. A search of the area was conducted using the Canine Unit, but the suspect was able to evade capture.

Later in the morning he was located at a home in Bradford, where he surrendered.

A 30-year-old Bradford man has been held in custody for a bail hearing. He is facing charges of Breach of Undertaking, Mischief Under $5,000 and Fail To Remain. He was not injured in the collision.
