Home invasion report nets multiple drug charges

Three men face multiple drug-trafficking related charges after police respond to a reported home invasion

At approximately 11 p.m. Friday night were called to an east end home in response to a possible home invasion. 

Police attended quickly and located three males in a vehicle outside of the property. 

As a result of the ensuing investigation two 27-year-old men, one from Brampton and one from Angus were both charged for possession with intent to traffic cocaine. 

The third male, a 23-year-old Barrie man who initially provided a false name, was already on conditions of various existing probation orders for similar offences. 

He  was charged with Obstruct Police and 5x Breach of Recognizance in addition to the drug related charges. He was held for bail.

The other two males were released with a future court date.
