Police seized this replica firearm while executing a search warrant at the home of a Toronto man accused of an attempted robbery in Bradford.

A Toronto man is facing robbery and weapon charges following an incident earlier this month in Bradford.

On May 4 at about 3:20 a.m., a man was returning to his home when police say he was approached by someone who tried to rob him at gunpoint. After a brief struggle on the victim’s front lawn, the accused fled the area. The victim sustained minor injuries.

An investigation by the South Simcoe Police Service identified the accused as a 28-year-old Toronto resident. Police say he was also responsible for an armed robbery in Toronto in March.

On May 19, Toronto Police Service officers executed a search warrant at the home of the accused. They found a replica firearm, which they believe was used during the robbery.

Min Park was arrested and was held pending a bail hearing. He has been charged with robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent, using an imitation firearm while committing an offence, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The investigation is ongoing. Police ask anyone with information to contact Det.-Const. Jason Muto at 905-775-3311, ext. 1054, or [email protected], or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
