48-year-old Orillia woman faces impaired driving charges

ORILLIA, ONT. - The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a female driver with Care and Control While Impaired in the City of Orillia.

On September 15, 2016 at approximately 6:25 p.m., Orillia OPP officers were dispatched to the Atherley Road Beer Store in relation to a possible impaired driver. Officers arrived on scene and arrested the female driver after a short investigation.

Catherine Ruston, 48 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Care and Control While Impaired, Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.  She was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on September 27, 2016.
