YOUNG, Darin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of a beloved son, brother, godfather, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Darin passed away suddenly at home on May 26th, 2017 at the age of 49. He is pre-deceased by his mother Linda, and will be sadly missed by his father Jim (Karen), sister Lori, grandmother Yvonne MacLachlan and his much-loved, extended Sheppard family. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Sunday June 4th, 2017, from 11 am until the time we celebrate Darin’s life in the Chapel at 1 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
