It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Thomas Harvey Wyborn 70, of Barrie, Ontario on Monday, August 29th, 2022, at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto after complications from surgery to repair fractures sustained from a fall on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife Patti, daughter Kaitlyn (Travis), and the apple of his eye, his grandchildren, Dawson Thomas, and Emilia Jaymes. He will be missed by his sister Diane (late Sam), and his extended family; Pam (late Jim), Paul (Mandy), Perry (Donna), and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Edith and Harvey Wyborn.

Tommy, or twinkle toes, as he was nicknamed, had been enjoying retirement after serving 50 years in the waterworks industry. He is well known around town for being the smiling friendly face and co-founder of WAMCO (Wyborn, Anderson, Mills Company).

Tommy was an avid golfer and movie buff who loved to travel. He served as a Mason and Shriner for the past 35 years, spending most of that time with the circus unit. In the warmer months he could be found driving his beloved corvette.

Tommy was known for his charismatic personality and always loved a few beers with friends! He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, and friend who will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, September 15th from 4 - 7pm at the Barrie Country Club (635 St. Vincent St., Barrie).

In Lieu of Flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to MS Society of Canada, Sick Kids, Shriners or a charity or your choice.
