August 14, 1936 – February 12, 2024
It is with great sadness the we announce the sudden passing of Fred Wright. With family at his side, he left us for a better place above, to be with his Heavenly Father.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Annette, and four sons: Bill (Christina Wright), Steve (Lori Wright), Dave (Tammy Wright), and Ed (Tamara Wright), grandchildren: Harley (Cheyenne Ryleey), Zachary, Rory, Erica, Amy, Hannah, Abby, Triton, Caleb, Kannen Meekings (Sara Logan), Leara Meekings (Austin Morris), Jonah Meekings (Peyton Knee), and great grandchildren: Willow, Everly, Colson, Lillian, and Bennett.
He was pre-deceased by his mother Eleanor, and father Gordon. He is survived by sisters: Joan Farwell (Jim Farwell) and Ellie Gauthier (late John Philip Gauthier).
His family is deeply saddened by his sudden passing. He was a strong silent man, whose love for cars and hockey, was only surpassed by his extreme love for his family. Always putting other people’s needs in front of his own, we now put you at the front of the line.
A visitation will take place at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent St., Barrie) on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 6 to 9pm with the Funeral Service to follow on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1pm at the Grace United Reformed Church (80 Sideroad 15 & 16 E, Oro Station).
