Passed away unexpectedly at his home in Barrie on August 1st, 2023 at the age of 51. Predeceased by his parents Remo and Maria Vatri, and his brother Ivano. Survived by his brother Rick (Marcia). Cherished uncle of Josh (Steph), Evan, Adam, and great-uncle of Layla and Finn. Will be sadly missed by his extended family in Canada and Italy, as well as many long-time friends in the Barrie area.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation for David will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, August 14th, 2023 from 1 PM until the time we celebrate his life in the Chapel at 2 PM. Following the interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barrie, guests will be invited back to the Funeral Home lounge to join David’s family for a reception luncheon.
David will be remembered for his caring heart, hard work ethic, passion for soccer and commitment to his family.
