It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas William Tims at the age of 88, on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Sylvia; children Debbie Fairweather (Cyril), David, the late Mark (Franca); grandchildren Ashley Tims (AJ Hanna), Matthew Tims (Laura Moore), Mitchell Fairweather (Priscila Guerrero Monterossa), Alexander Fairweather (Shauna McCarthy); and great grandchildren Bryson, Desmond, and Leo. He will be greatly missed and loved by all.
The family would like to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at RVH for their wonderful care of Tom.
Family and friends will be received at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (entrance and parking on Highway 400 side of building) on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 12 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 o'clock p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Barrie Victory Centre would be appreciated.
