It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Thurlow, peacefully at Victoria Village in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Al Thurlow. Loving mother of Gayle Thurlow (Mary Ellen) and Stephen Thurlow (deceased). Much loved grandmother and great grandmother of Branden Thurlow (Grace), Hannah Belanger and Silas Thurlow. Predeceased by her parents John and Beatrice Lockhart, sisters Jean McNamara, Helen Gooding and brother Roy Lockhart. Marlene will be sadly missed by her sister and brother in law Irene and Glen Mumberson and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff on the Kensington Floor at Victoria Village for their care and kindness. As per Marlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Marlene requested a private family interment at Barrie Union Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through Adams Funeral Home
