It is with our deepest sadness that we announce
the passing of our wonderful mother,
Norma Stevenson, on January 20th 2022, in her 93rd year.
Loving mother of Peggy (John/Bosco), Anne (Ron), and Gordon (Liz).
Sadly missed by her ten grandchildren.
Beloved sister of Grant Wallace of Calgary, AB.
Predeceased by her husband John B. Stevenson,
her son Jim Stevenson and her brothers, Ken and Don Wallace.
Norma will be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Norma unselfishly gave of her time to the
RVH Ladies Auxiliary (for over 65 years),
the Griffin Theatre, and the Rotary Club.
She was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal
in 2003 for all her countless hours of voluntary work.
Norma was a wonderful, vibrant woman who
enjoyed life with a grand spirit of adventure.
A gracious hostess. A Lady with a capital “L.”
Norma will be fondly remembered by her many, many friends
for her gracious hospitality, and her numerous
dinner parties and impromptu meals.
At Norma’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Norma’s life and achievements,
will be celebrated in the spring or early summer.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the
RVH Ladies Auxiliary or a Charity of Choice
would be greatly appreciated by the family.
