Passed away peacefully at her Woods Park home, Barrie on August 28th, 2023 at the age of 100. Predeceased by her husband Harold Stephenson in 2009 and son Harold Stephenson (Mary) in 2023. Loving mother of Barry Stephenson (Caroline). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Alicia), Lisa (Jeff), Tanya, the late Sandra, and great grandmother of Isaac, Travis, Charlie, the late Lyla, Kayley, Kirstin, and Trey. Survived by her brother Louis. Predeceased by her parents Aline and Edward Ladouceur, sisters Dorothy, Helen, Rayetta, Blanche, and brothers Robert, William, Edward, Leo, Rene, and David.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, September 4th, 2023 from 1 – 3 PM and 6 – 8 PM, with service to follow on Tuesday, September 5th at 10:30 AM. Guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the lounge before the family proceeds to Barrie Union Cemetery for the interment.
