Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Monday October 26, 2020 in his 87th year. Sadly missed by his previous wife Frances (nee Flood), children Catherine Spong of Wallaceburg, Margaret Cyr and her husband Gilles of Thornton, Stephen Spong and his partner Susan of Barrie and the Late Rosemary Curtis and her husband Perry of Seaforth. Grandfather of Danielle Milne and her husband Kyle, Sarah Quann and her husband Ryan, Michelle Cyr and her fiancé Benjamin Crawford and Holly Cyr and her fiancé Tyler McCue. Predeceased by brother Gordon and sister Rita. Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre 152 Bradford St. Barrie on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 1:00-3:00pm. Service to follow in the Chapel at 3:00pm. Cremation. Donations to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
