Steven Murrell Skidmore passed away suddenly in Barrie on June 12th, 2022 at the age of 31 years old. Born August 9, 1990 Steven is the beloved son of Anne Debbie Jeffrey, loving partner to Frances and best friend to her children Kendell & Parker. Loving father to Patrick and Seth (Debbie Cerjanic). Loving brother of Lori, Heather and Melissa. Cherished grandson of Janet and Bob Coughlin. Loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Loving cat dad to Sophie + Shadow. Steven leaves in mourning many extended family members, friends and co-workers. Steven will be remembered for his love of animals, love of carpentry, dearly loved by many friends & family, love of music of all genres, and he loved hard & often. His favorite group was ICP but he also enjoyed a little Garth Brooks. Although no one was safe from his sense of humour, he was generous, honest and kind to all. His smile was contagious. He was a hopeless romantic. His gentle and caring demeanour put everyone at ease. A social chameleon, he trusted in the goodness of others. He was a curious and old soul who loved to discover spiritual meanings in his everyday life. He shared his passion for life through his creations and designs with his job in carpentry. We will never forget you and will never let your memory be forgotten. We’ll always love you, miss you, cherish you and never forget you.
