SCHAER, Maurice

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Wednesday, May 31st, 2017. Maurice Schaer at the age of 91 beloved husband of the late Lina Schaer. Dear father of Sylvia (Arthur) King, Sonja (Neil) Hoover, Maurice (Brenda) Schaer and Andy Schaer (Debbie Sauvé). Cherished grandfather of Ryan King, Jared (Jessy) King, Shannon King, Jason (Ashley) Hoover, Bethany (Phil) Peters and Stephanie Sauvé and great grandfather of Isabel, Jacob, Oakley, Luka, Jaelynne and Summer. Maurice will also be remembered by his brothers , sister and their families in Switzerland. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. to celebrate Maurice’s life. A private family interment service will take place at Midhurst Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
