(February 9th 1931 - August 5th 2021) - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Thursday August 5,2021 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Yvonne ( Nee Heffernan ). Loved father to Alex ( Mary ) of Barrie and Scott ( Debbie ) of Beeton. Proud Grandfather of Ashley Rattray of Toronto and Amber ( Chad Drew) of Beeton. Great grandfather of Carter, Abigayle, Brooklyn, Hayden, and Kyleigh. Pre- deceased by his parents Bert and Mabel ( Nee Collins )and siblings Sandra, Janice, Sheila Robbins, and Glenn. Survived by sisters: Barb Robinson of Consecon, Heather Mattis of Consecon, and Cheryl (Emerson) McFaul of Chatham. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Mr. Rattray is resting Adam’s Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends August 17, 2021 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Barrie, Ontario on August 18, 2021 at 10am. The Reverend Father Larry Leger to Officiate. Private Burial Service after the church service. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Simcoe, Covenant House, and St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated by the family.
