Norman peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Sunday Sept 25, 2022, at Matthew’s House Hospice, Alliston. Loving husband of June Elizabeth Porter. Married 64 years Sept 20th. Loving father of Lynn Ann (Bill) Johnston, Robert (Heather), Randy (Laurie). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Lyndsie (John), Shauna (Chris), Jessica (Rob), Colleen (Kyle), Danielle (Branden), and Andrew (Ingrid). Norman delighted in his great grandchildren Carson, Tara-Lynn, Kaleb, Kolby, Hayden, Hudson, and Lilla.
Norman was able to celebrate his 85th birthday surrounded by family. Retired from Toronto Fire Department and Nestle Canada.
As per Norman’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices - Jennett Memorial Centre in Barrie.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday October 16th, 2022, through the family.
