It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden passing of David Porter at the age of 56 on August 2nd, 2023. Dear son of Andrea and the late Dr. Terry Porter. Loving husband of Cheryl Porter (nee Walker) for 27 years. Honoured father of Teresa and Derk (formerly Alyssa). Will be sadly missed by his brothers Steven (Joyce), Robert (Jennifer), and Michael (Kate).
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 from 7-9 PM and on Friday, August 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, with service to follow in the Chapel on Saturday, August 12th at 11 AM. Friends are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge.
