Retired employee of Alberta Government Telephones (now Telus) – Passed away peacefully at Victoria Village in Barrie Ontario on Monday July 10th 2017. John Nehring of Barrie (formerly of Edmonton, Alberta) was in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Victoria (nee Gil Gutierrez) of 61 years. Loving father of Vera Nehring of Barrie. A memorial service will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie on Friday July 21st 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barrie. A Celebration of Life will follow at Vera’s home.
