Doreen passed peacefully in her sleep at the Coleman Care Center in Barrie on May 25th, 2022 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Lloyd almost 69 years. Proud mom of Diane (Roy Mandeville), Janet (Allan Robertson) and Ted (Laurie). Special grandma of Jim (Kate), Brian (Heather), Katie, Julia (Kevin) and Nick (Jess). Adored sister of Dr. Tom Daglish (Nancy) of Visalia California. Doreen also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
An almost 50 year resident of Richmond Hill, Doreen served on the Richmond Hill Public Library Board for many years, the last few as Chair. Doreen was also a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Bokhara Court of the Ladies Oriental Shrine.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday June 1st at 11:00 at the Alliston Union Cemetery with a reception to follow. Donations to the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Doreen's name would be appreciated by the family if so desired. Arrangements entrusted to the Adams Funeral Home on St. Vincent Street in Barrie.
