Our beloved husband and father, Jerry Moscicky passed peacefully on Thursday April 29, 2021.

He was the soulmate and true love of Louise for the past 36 years and the dedicated and proud father of Stephen (Kimberly) and Lisa. Everything he did, he did for his family. Jerry was a very hard worker and dedicated father. He loved the projects that he and his kids worked on, leaving them now with the most wonderful memories. His family and friends will always remember the fun adventures they had together. Jerry’s love and passion for music always showed and we know he’s playing his guitars in heaven.

Louise will remember her husband as someone who was truly dedicated to her and her happiness. He wanted nothing for himself, but to see his family happy. His love will always be in our hearts.

Born on November 17, 1958 he was the son of the late Maria and Anton Moscicky. He leaves behind his sister Olya Moscicky and her children, and his brother John (Patsy) Moscicky and their children. Jerry will be remembered by his mother-in-law Joanne Chomniak (late Morris Chomniak) and by Louise’s brothers and their families; Brian (Veronique), John (Rose-Ann), Terry (Patty), Gerry (Kevin), Stephen (Heidi) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry loved going to work and took a lot of pride in his job. He was one of the original associates hired at EFFEM Foods (Mars) Newmarket in 1987. His family loved to hear the funny stories he shared when he came home. He retired in 2018 after a 31 year career. Louise, Stephen, and Lisa are very thankful to his many co-workers who have reached out in the last few weeks, especially those who came to show their respect at Hospice Simcoe.

We miss him terribly, but find comfort in knowing we no longer have to see him suffer through the battle he fought so hard to beat. He is our superhero and we love him so much.

Due to Covid Restrictions there will not be a service; but there will be a Celebration of Jerry’s life when restrictions are lifted. Memorial Contributions in leu of flowers can be made to Hospice Simcoe, who we are forever grateful for making the difference in Jerry’s last days. A very special thank you to his Palliative Doctor, Dr. Brian Morris for being the angel on our shoulders these past few weeks. He worked miracles for our beloved Jerry. Arrangements entrusted to Innisfil Funeral Home.

REST MY LOVE,
YOUR PAIN HAS ENDED,
YET OURS HAS JUST BEGUN
WE WILL HONOUR AND CELEBRATE YOU EVERYDAY

“I love you beyond any words can say, beyond how any heart can hold the love for another person, and beyond this heartache that you will heal, by holding my heart.” Louise
