Passed on November 3, 2022 at home at the age of 75. He spent most of his working life at “Coles Books”.
He was born in Toronto on January 24, 1947 to Alice and John (unfortunately Alice died giving birth to Wayne); Wayne was then brought up by John and Helen (stepmother). He has left behind a loving wife, Maureen, of 41 years and two brothers, Richard (Vivian) and Kenneth (Pam).
One day Maureen was asked, “how do you make a marriage last?”, Maureen replied with, there are two main things other then LOVE:
1) Never go to bed mad
2) Don’t spend all your time together in the same room (everyone needs some time apart)
Wayne loved camping, Nascar and anything to do with wolves; I told him he couldn’t have a real one!
Wayne also had a BIG passion for “Chipit Noels”.
As per Wayne’s request, a Cremation has already taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Wayne will be deeply missed by his many friends and family members.
