Passed away peacefully at home in Barrie with family by her side at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late Duncan Matheson. Loving and devoted mother of Angela Sharon and Deanna Matheson (Gerard). Survived by brother Frank Mercer (Marylou), Stephan Nozewski, and sisters Barbara Mercer-Moffatt (Steve) and Christine Proffitt (Rick). Predeceased by her parents Albert and Lily Mercer-Nozewski, step father Eugene Nozewski and brother Albert Mercer. Proud and loving nanny of Brittany, Matthew, Mikayla, Nico, Caitlynn and great grandchildren Nevonte, Isabella and Osiris. Always loved and remembered by many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and special niece Michelle Mercer (Joe). Family and friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., in Barrie, on Saturday March 30, 2019 from 1 pm until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 2 pm. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and are appreciated.
