On the morning of August 2, 2023, Maurice (Moe) Lavimodiere, forever President of the Devilishly Handsome Club, passed peacefully and on his own terms. He will forever be missed by the love of his life and woman he adored, Robin; his family; and his friends. Moe had a fascinating mind, always going left when everyone else went right. He designed things in ways nobody else could see. When given six months to live, Moe punched out another six and a half years and had to redo his bucket list twice - he was too busy to die. An epic trip to Europe, having cocktails with Reba, duelling corvettes, visiting friends, travelling the world, and buying and renovating homes with Robin (the Dream Team) were the things he enjoyed the most. Moe lived and loved large, according to his own playbook. We know he’s cruising in a 1969 Shelby GT 500 convertible, checking out his next project, and meeting up with his parents and those that have passed while he waits for Robin (and others) to join him. May he rest in Peace. He will be missed by his Fan Club - too many people to list.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. S. Erven, Nurse K.T., Dr. P. Bradbury, Dr. J. Cho, Dr. K. Murphy, and the teams at Princess Margaret and Huntsville Hospital for their exceptional care for six and a half years. We are, and will forever be, eternally grateful.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to request that those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Georgian College to benefit a new memorial student award fund, in honour of Maurice Lavimodiere (Moe)’s life and legacy. Please visit: gc.convio.net/mauricefund
